'Starting today there will be a scavenger hunt, there will be 12 different websites for each of the pubs featured in the movie. Follow the signs! If you collect all 12 signs, you have a chance to watch an early screening of The World’s End (at Comic Con).

This is another internet technique used to attract audiences. This is a viral ad where the viewers are told to find the 12 different pub signs on 12 different websites to possibly win a chance to watch a private early viewing of the film.

Due to the fact the posts were revealed on Facebook, the film gets free marketing through social networking (through personal shares) and word of mouth. It also makes the film seem up to date and fun, which appeals to a younger, more digital audience. Creates hype.
